The Villas of Gleneagles is comprised of 118 households configured as 59 villas which are situated between the Links of GlenEagles and Gleneagles Drive. The Villas are near walking and biking trails that extend up to the top of the hill and down into the town of Cochrane. We are about 10 minutes to Calgary city limits via Highway 1A. We are conveniently located just 45 minutes from the nearest ski hill and just over 1 hour to Canmore and Banff for more skiing, hiking and sightseeing.
Our neighbourhood boasts hundreds of mature trees that provide shelter to hundreds of songbirds. The well-manicured green spaces in summer and cleared roadways in winter make it a maintenance free space for owners to enjoy in all seasons. For those who like to Snowbird during the winter, it is an ideal neighbourhood for owners to “lock and leave”.
The Board of Directors is elected at the Annual General Meeting every June. The Board directs a property management company to manage the contractors who maintain and repair the common property within the Villas of Gleneagles.
The Villas of Gleneagles neighbourhood was started in 1995 and construction of all 118 units concluded in 2000. It is a friendly community which has 2 organized gatherings each year – the annual Christmas party hosted at the Links of GlenEagles and a summer BBQ which takes place in the Villas greenspace. During the summer months, there are informal gatherings on driveways where neighbours gather and catch up on the comings and goings.
