GlenEagles West is a neighbourhood of 110 residences that is located only a short distance from downtown Cochrane and to the GlenEagles’ baseball diamond and soccer field. Many of the homes have spectacular views of the mountains, the Bow River, and the trains that wind their way through the nearby valley. The community is centered around Wearmouth Park which has a playground and shaded walkways. Homes either back onto the park or to other green spaces such as the Links of GlenEagles and environmental reserve.
The Town of Cochrane(the ToC) maintains the park and the GlenEagles Close island, while the GlenEagles Community Association is responsible for the entrance boulevard.
Residents of GlenEagles West have easy access to the Golf Club and to the various pathways throughput GlenEagles, including a trail that is part of the Great Canadian Trail. Deer, foxes, and other wildlife are frequent visitors to the area.
