GlenEagles East is a neighbourhood of 472 residences surrounded by 15 of the greens and fairways of the Links of GlenEagles Golf Course and areas of environmental reserve. Many of the homes have spectacular views of the mountains, the Bow River, and the trains that wind their way through the nearby valley. You can sit on your decks or in your homes and watch as the weather patterns change, the mountains slip in and out of view, and the colourful sunsets and northern lights dazzle. It is also where you can find 3 of the 4 parks that have been built in GlenEagles and large islands with grass and shrub and tree beds that create an element of spaciousness and privacy. The Town of Cochrane (the ToC) maintains the parks and islands, while the GlenEagles Community Association maintains the entrance boulevard. Once primarily considered to be a retirement or semi-retirement community, the demographics are changing as more and more families are making GlenEagles East their home.
Residents of GlenEagles East have easy access to the Golf Club either from GlenEagles Drive or a walkway from GlenEagles View during summer months. There are also multiple accesses to the various trails throughout GlenEagles and a little-known entrance that takes you into the southwest end of Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park. Given our proximity to the Glenbow Ranch and community wildlife corridors, it is not unusual to see deer grazing nearby or foxes out on the hunt for food.
